This is the first JBL collection that has made me lose my mind. I am ready to buy a ticket to Nigeria to visit her studio.  I'm in love and I definitely feel this is her best work yet. I look forward to more in the future.

Zara November 2010

Zara has a lookbook for every month. I have the Zara app on my iphone just to see their monthly lookbooks. This is the November lookbook. I like it for the most part. If I had a job, I would probably shop at Zara for most of my worker bee clothes. See the entire Zara Woman lookbook here.

Fashion Faceoff: Kim Kardashian v. Ciara

We all know by know that these two are "best friends." When I saw Ciara wear this 2 weeks after Kim Kardashian did, my face suddenly looked like the BBM confused face. Did Ciara forget that she had a premiere to go to so she borrowed from Kim? I feel bad for Ciara because she always ends up looking like she is jacking someone else's style. Last year her stylist used to give her all the same things RiRi wore...not a good look.

Anyway I think they are both gorgeous and their bodies are amazing. This Carven dress and Louboutin bootie combo is hot! How do you decide..who wore it best?

Mila & Fire Vintage...

If you are tired of walking outside and seeing 50 people in the same shirt or dress or skirt as you, this is for you! My friend Kelcie and her friend Mila have opened an online vintage store which I am obsessed with. Trust me when I say it is AMAZING. They handpick some really great statement pieces at affordable prices.. Kelcie was one of my inspirations to try vintage shopping and thrifting. I did it alone for the first time yesterday ( read about it here) and got so excited.

I was admiring the work done by Poodle Pusher on Brandy and they continue to wow me. Sisters, Chichi & Ogo Offodile are racing to the top of my favorite stylist list. I struggled to like anything on the VMA carpet besides the new white carpet. I LOVED that. Ciara was definitely my favorite in Givenchy followed by Lady Gaga. I'm not sold on Ciara's shoes but.....I think she looked gorg.

Say Hello: My favorite Fashion Editor!

I've always believed in looking the part.  Christine Centenera DEFINITELY does that as the editor for Harper's Bazaar Australia. I love her sense of style. I am definitely a fan and she might even beat Anna Dello Russo who was previously my favorite. I like Christine's style because it's effortless, she never really looks overdone  and she also isn't afraid to wear pieces more than once. I always thought she was a model whenever I saw her on The Sartorialist but now I know who she really is. So say hello to this fashionista from down under!

FABULOUS D.I.Y.

Melody Ehsani is a GENIUS shoe & jewelry designer. She custom made these shoes for her birthday. They are so sick and I can't get over the transformation. Sometimes I'm like a little child when it comes to accessories and clothes, I love the bling. If you don't know Melody Ehsani, PLEASE get familiar.....her jewelry is ALL over the place. Nicki Minaj's latest video, Diggy Simmons mixtape cover, Rihanna & Erykah Badu wear it a lot. Check her out :)

Melody is friends with Mariel Haenn( Stylist to Rihanna, Ciara and many more) and Melina Matsoukas ( video director of a million and one videos...Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, Lady Gaga, Lily Allen to name a few). She calls her and her friends the three M's. I love it....women's empowerment!

Christian Louboutin Ulona: Ndebele Influence

I spotted these Christian Louboutin Ulona Platform. I love them. Definitely a Spring shoe. Another reason I love them is because,  I definitely think Mr. Louboutin got his inspiration from Ndebele artwork & I am Ndebele  :) You can see the distinctive bright geometric artwork, and the gold adornments which are like the gold & copper neck and ankle wear of the Ndebele. Just a little something I thought I should share!
