I went to Atlantic City. Not only was I spoiled the entire time but it lifted my spirits and I feel so rejuvenated. This trip also solidified the fact that I need to go Vegas, immediately. I went to AC for the first time in December for a friend's birthday and really enjoyed it. This time, I was going for a much more relaxed getaway. Lots of reading, good food, good wine, and late nights spent talking. I went to my Buddakan, one of my favorite restaurants THREE times. I have a very strict, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it policy." I also got to explore hotels, we stayed at a different one each night. Revel is without a doubt my favorite hotel in AC. The pool at Harrah's is an awesome place to hangout. I prefer pools over beaches, unless it's a worthwhile beach aka none of the ones in NY or NJ. Lastly, for those who gamble: I like the casino at the Tropicana because that is where I have won money. No legit reason, sorry.
Overall, Atlantic City is a great place for a quick and convenient getaway. It is one of those places that once you have been there, you have pretty much seen it all and you can move on but it is still nice to go to.
