Say Hello: My favorite Fashion Editor!

I've always believed in looking the part.  Christine Centenera DEFINITELY does that as the editor for Harper's Bazaar Australia. I love her sense of style. I am definitely a fan and she might even beat Anna Dello Russo who was previously my favorite. I like Christine's style because it's effortless, she never really looks overdone  and she also isn't afraid to wear pieces more than once. I always thought she was a model whenever I saw her on The Sartorialist but now I know who she really is. So say hello to this fashionista from down under!

FABULOUS D.I.Y.

Melody Ehsani is a GENIUS shoe & jewelry designer. She custom made these shoes for her birthday. They are so sick and I can't get over the transformation. Sometimes I'm like a little child when it comes to accessories and clothes, I love the bling. If you don't know Melody Ehsani, PLEASE get familiar.....her jewelry is ALL over the place. Nicki Minaj's latest video, Diggy Simmons mixtape cover, Rihanna & Erykah Badu wear it a lot. Check her out :)

Melody is friends with Mariel Haenn( Stylist to Rihanna, Ciara and many more) and Melina Matsoukas ( video director of a million and one videos...Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, Lady Gaga, Lily Allen to name a few). She calls her and her friends the three M's. I love it....women's empowerment!

Christian Louboutin Ulona: Ndebele Influence

I spotted these Christian Louboutin Ulona Platform. I love them. Definitely a Spring shoe. Another reason I love them is because,  I definitely think Mr. Louboutin got his inspiration from Ndebele artwork & I am Ndebele  :) You can see the distinctive bright geometric artwork, and the gold adornments which are like the gold & copper neck and ankle wear of the Ndebele. Just a little something I thought I should share!

Half Moon Manicure

Here is something for you to try on your nails. I've gotten this manicure a few times. I first tried it a few months ago at home and it was hard for me to do....I don't have steady fingers lol. After that, I got it done professionally a few times, I prefer it with white nail polish and a black half moon. So basically the opposite of what is in the picture. I'm thinking about different colors to try it with too. I think it's a haute concept.

Paris Fashion Week.

People were not only interested in what was on the runway, they were interested in what Ms. Fenty would wear, as she put on her own fashion week. Here are the looks. Mariel Henn has really transformed Rihanna. Although, I'm not loving all the looks ensemble.....there is something I adore in each of the looks.

Pant Suits....

Pantsuits for women are being reinvented and different styles are becoming available. My favorite would have to be Rihanna this past summer. She shut it down with the crisp white Derek Lam suit and a leopard print shirt for a little pazzaz! For the fall black and grey are the safest options, played around with textures and proportions. Suits are a little expensive but they are well worth it. Also you can create the pantsuit look with different pieces, not necessarily all bought together....duh
